If there is one thing to consider about the yearly trade deadline frenzy, it's what is rumored and well-known among reporters, beat writers, fans, etc, is usually not happening while things that have been quiet for a while or never known do happen. The best example is the Perk/Green trade : we never heard a word about this deal and when the deadline was past, we all thought the Celtics stood pat before learning the big news.
So, my point is that we should probably expect that KG and Pierce won't get traded, thus that the Josh Smith and Bledsoe/Jordan won't come to fruition.
But I think that a trade will happen regardless, and if I had to bet, I would say that Danny will find a way to get JJ Redick in green. This scenario makes sense, in my opinion : we heard some time ago that the Celtics were very interested in Redick and the talk about him has cooled down since to the point of becoming silent.
I'm thinking of a three-team trade shipping Lee or Terry out to get Redick.
