No.
Hayward has no value to New Orleans as a project with a huge cap hit, and the rest of that package just isn’t enough.
The only potentially valuable thing you’ve given Washington is the MEM pick.
Neither the Pels nor the Grizzlies do this.
Also, it’s time that people get used to the idea of trading both Tatum and Brown for AD. Tatum has not shown the growth that would have potentially allowed us to headline the package with him alone. We probably aren’t getting AD unless we include both Tatum and Brown, and we sure as hell aren’t getting AD AND another star for Tatum and bits.
The AD deal, if we even pull it off, will hurt.
It's funny, because a couple of months ago I created a thread/poll asking which player (along with Tatum) fans would rather give up for AD: Brown or Smart, and more people chose Brown as the player to trade. I was actually quite surprised by the results, but I guess my point is, people apparently aren't going to be too heartbroken if Tatum and Brown are gone, but Smart is still here.
Personally, I hope we do what we can to hold on to Brown, but I also understand that in 2020 he is going to get a pretty hefty pay raise. We all know what Smart will be making then.
As for Beal, yeah, of course I would deal Hayward (not your proposal, but just swapping parts) for him. I mean, Hayward seems to be coming around and he should be all the way back next season, but Beal would fill that Ray Allen role very nicely in the new new big 3. I guess Kyrie has to PP.
