Dallas is hoping to get Caron Butler tough juice on the court, but even then, I'm not sure they have enough to take more than a couple games. Lakers are picking up a head of steam. Artest and Odom will be tough matchups for Dirk.

That being said, this is the best / most complete Dallas team that Dirk has had .... so there is a chance!!

The Lakers are going back to finals, and we'll be there waiting for them.

Dallas is a jumpshooting team, and Los Angeles is a rebounding team. Hmm...

I like the way you think. Put a whupping on Miami. I'll be rooting for you for the next series. After that, I'll have to withdraw my support.

i think Bynum is the key to the Lakers success.
If Chandler can slow him down, Dallas have a good chance of winning the series.
And as much as I don’t like Cuban, he deserves some credit for his efforts and investments.

I've been hit and miss with my predictions so far.  I thought Orlando, La, San Antonio will sweep.  On the other hand I guessed Indiana, Philly and Portland will take the series to 5 or 6 games.  I am happy I was right that the Celtics swept the Knicks.
I say Lakers in 7.  Dallas is playing so well, and they are deep, big and they have about 3 closers in Dirk, Terry and Kidd.  I really feel that right now Dallas is the better team.  Maybe if they had Butler and Beaubois I would feel more confident, but at the end I just can't see them winning a game 7 in LA.

Unfortunately, I'd pick the Lakers in 4, 5 tops.

The lakers should handle the Mavs without too much trouble.  Bynum will eat up the dallas centers.

I wondered if Tommy Points were for Tommy Heinsohn and was going to ask. Now I know. I'm sure you Celtics fans love the guy, but he really annoyed me when he did national telecasts - so arrogant and condescending.

At least he doesn't try to hide it.
