reminds me of that movie... forgot the title. it was about being an astronaut i believe and set in the future, the parents have one normal womb child and one test tube child (who is genetically perfect). the real child is too short and theres a scene where they chop his legs up to extend them.

Talk about an inferiority complex!! For $150 grand she should have just gotten a boob job, bought a Ferrari and told everyone to go to hell. A lot less pain and a lot more fun, I'm guessing.

That doesn't even include the costs for the flight over there and the stay while rehabbing.

Tony Allen didn't grow 6 inches since his rookie season. They say it takes one year to heal. Worth the risk. What's not to like? Have some faith in the science. Ainge must do it.

reminds me of that movie... forgot the title. it was about being an astronaut i believe and set in the future, the parents have one normal womb child and one test tube child (who is genetically perfect). the real child is too short and theres a scene where they chop his legs up to extend them.

Gattaca. He was assuming Jude Law's identity and had to be taller to fit the bill. I thought it was a pretty good movie.

1 year to heal as in be able to walk again... i'm sure you would lose all jumping ability afterward.  ::)

(and i know it was only a joke, i'm not stupid)

Really. Reported on FOX news you say ::)

This is real, and also not uncommon.

However, every bone lengthening procedures I've read about was used because of physical deformities, and not because of cosmetic/image concerns.

I'd get a surgery like that if I could go to Saturn's moon Titan as well. Would be pretty cool.
