its nearly impossible to get a transition layup in cleveland, nevermind make the game competive.. lets face it -the celtics are just plain abysmal in cleveland

How does Perk get called for an offensive but Lurch and Sideshow Bob never do?

Oh Lebron's block that the announcers are praising was a goaltend, Twas going down.

You know, I think that the notion of the NBA rigging games is totally absurd. Sure, there might be a few Donaghy-style cases here and there, but by and large I think the refs just try to do a good job.

But some refs are worse than others. And some of these refs are very susceptible to being swayed by the home crowd. And I've got this little theory (actually, somebody else said it first) that the NBA DOES seem to have a tendency to place these easily-swayed refs at critical games in the season.

It's no secret that the NBA is totally on Lebron's nuts. Would you put it past Stern to place some easily-swayed refs at an important Cavaliers home game? I wouldn't.

/and to end my little rant about the NBA's management, I just wanna say that hand-checking needs to be allowed again. Sorry, but the whole "more points more points more points I wish every team played like the Suns" mantra doesn't work for me. Well-contested games where defense is actually played... now that's something to encourage, not make illegal

cleveland at least makes the games competive in boston...something we cant and dont  do in cleveland with or without KG, this is already an embarrasment

Doc -- please rest the starters now. The way the refs are calling this, someone is likely to get hurt with Cavs players mugging us all day. Game means NOTHING.

This could be a long afternoon.

It's evening in Denmark and if it continues like this, I'll be having a nightmare tonight, that's for sure.

The C's better build up an offensive rhythm, if not it sure will be ugly..

This isn't even fair. Cleveland is like a videogame team at home. They just get rolling and then never miss.

Nice screen, Mikki. You will get destroyed in this game.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Did I miss something. Are KG and Powe playing today? Please, this game means nothing and after the first period, we should mostly see the bench for the rest of the game.

agree this game is nothing more than a preaseason game at this point...but at least show up and play hard....refs arent doing boston any favors but sooner or later that are going to have to get one in cleveland....

This could be a 30-plus point loss. Who cares? Seriously. I just hope the C's can reach 70 points today.

Ok by the way I can't actually watch the game since I'm at a business meeting, but is the reffing REALLY as bad as we all predicted, or is it more that the Celtics can't make a shot of their lives depended on it? Or the fact that Cleveland isn't missing? From the sound of this board and the box score I'm looking at it doesn't seem like the refs are exactly being good, but it's more Cleveland that's beating Boston than the refs are.
