it's probably a sign of the times but i'll be peeping through my fingers at the score  first thing in the morning . . .

Come on C's!!!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Detroit is a train wreck. Weak in the backcourt, weak in the frontcourt. Very poor balance.

They are ripe for the taking.

isn't this sort of like what people were thinking about New Orleans?

with this team i'm afraid of any opponent that is young and full of energy.

NO's a veteran team with pretty good offensive/defensive balance.  No star talent (especially without Gordon), but very solid defensively, with the capability of executing offensively.

Detroit looks less capable of putting together a well-rounded effort.  Sure their guards could get hot from the field and we could play into their hands by turning the ball over (Jerebko hurt us with his transition ability in his rookie year), but our odds are better, especially considering the day of rest and home court.

I would argue that Detroit is a trainwreck and that New Orleans is pretty close to a trainwreck given they were missing their best player and that they have 9 new guys on their 15-man roster. That said, the Celts should demolish the Pistons tonight.

Yeah, same here.  Just hope they come out to play hard in front of their home fans

If we lose tonight, I'm ready to hit the panic button.

But we won't, because we're at home, Pierce is back and will give us an emotional boost, and because we're playing the freakin' Pistons!

TP FL and go Celtics.

Are we 100% on Pierce's return? Everywhere says yes but nothing surprises me now. Just wondering if anybody heard something else.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I've tried it all, watching the game live, not watching the game live, watching the game on delay, but nothing helped us win. I'm going back to watching the game live for now, but I WILL resort to *not watching at all* if today's game doesn't give us our first win of the season!

LET'S GO CELTICS!!!
