With Wilcox out I'd love to see some JJJ. Get him out with Rondo to run the break.
Jason Smith would be a good matchup for JJJ.

Smith is too limited offensively to create against him, not an aggressive rebounder or a particular good defender. Nice matchup to ease JJJ into things.

Carl Landry or Chris Kaman would be too difficult. I'd like Doc to avoid putting JJJ out there against them if at all possible. Both of those players are strong enough shot-creators and physically strong to give JJJ problems.

I think JJJ (or J Cube if you will) could do a decent job on Landry for spot minutes with his length. Kaman is a center and J Cube is not close to being strong enough to guard a legit 5.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The Celtics need to bounce back and get this game tonight. So here are Q's keys:

1) Find a way to contain Eric Gordon.
2) Not take this team lightly. They are capable and well coached.
3) Avoid the Turnover Plague. It is why we are 0 and 2 instead of 2 and 0.
4) Win the battle of the boards.

Hopefully, I can get the LP working on the I-pad and take in this game and others.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

It really is all about turnovers. Unfortunately, i can't see the young guys staying out of trouble in that department tonight.

Tommy point for "J Cube."

Chris Kaman could be a tough guy to contain off that Hornets bench.

The Celtics don't have much size off the pine.

Would be interesting to see the Stiemer tried against him.

At last a break from All-NBA small forwards!

Eric Gordon's going to be another tough match-up for Ray.  This will be a good game to go small with Dooling at the 2 and Ray at the 3 (not worried about Ray on Ariza/Bellinelli).

Kaman's going to be a pain off the bench.  If ever Doc needed an excuse to start bringing JO off the bench, this could be it.  Bass/KG matches up pretty well against Landry/Okafor.

Just a note.  Yesterday, this game was listed on NBA-TV.  Today they have it listed on League Pass with the Thunder and Grizzlies on NBA-TV.  Guess they didn't think the Celtics- Hornets was an exciting enough game.

compared to Thunder-Grizzlies?  come on -- can you disagree?

I'm sure this game was originally slated for NBA TV because of the Chris Paul / Rajon Rondo rivalry.  Now that Paul is in LA, no reason to have the Hornets on NBA TV.

Good news for me. I live in LA, and NBA-TV isn't offered by my cable provider, so this means I get to watch the game.

I think C's win tonight but that its going to be close throughout. Ray Ray, KG and Rondo have played huge minutes thus far and I could see one or two of them having an off night from being tired.

ILPB/LPB is offering a free preview until Jan 5th, I think. Those who can't watch the game on TV can take advantage of this.
