Would love to see the Vegas odds on last man standing here

Also, David Duke Jr.?  Unfortunate name to have.

Not only an unfortunate name to have, but David Duke has to give up his number to honour the life of civil rights activist Bill Russell.

My sick little mind chuckled

Cool honor.

As an aside, it's always annoyed me that LeBron switched from No. 23—out of respect to Jordan—but he took No. 6! As though Russell didn't deserve the same respect that LeBron showed Jordan!

If LeBron was classy, he'd give up No. 6 today. But I'm not holding my breath.
23 was retired in Miami so he had to switch.  I do think it is interesting he decided to switch to 6 this past season after wearing 23 his first 3 years in LA, especially since Davis did not take 23 (which was a rumored reason Lebron went back to 6).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

This should have been while Bill was alive.   He was a giant for the game and humanity.

Absolutely.   I hope this is something that was shared with him prior to his death.
