After the passing of William Felton Russell, the Celtics greatest ever player. I would like to propose that the CelticsStrong homepage photo be changed to that of Mr. Russell, or at least incorporate him with other significant Celtics legends.

There is no Boston Celtics without Bill Russell.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I vote for something that evokes him as a person. Maybe one of his playing days and something like him getting the Presidential medal of freedom. My personal favorite is him wearing all of his rings with a huge smile on his face.

Thanks for the swift response byennie.

I’m not sure about the restrictions regarding copyright, but perhaps we can have a vote on the picture which best represents Mr. Russell and the forum?

Much appreciated, Goldstar88 & slamtheking for the TP’s.

Does anyone have any updates regarding the change in homepage to incorporate Bill Russell?

If there is a (copyright) cost issue, I am more than happy to financially contribute.
