I love this team, and want them to win tonight. Hoping that they play their best, the refs are fair,

and Kyle Lowry and PJ Tucker don't get away with their grabbing, and Bam gets called for his moving screens!!

Tonight may be Al Horford's last game in the NBA and last shot at a championship.

Let's hope that aspiration does not end tonight.

This day is longest day in history waiting for game time. I am going out of my mind!

If you step back from this and realize that this is just the beginning. The Celtics are not only one of the most talented teams in the NBA they're also one of the youngest. Both stars, the J's are under 26. Marcus Smart and  both Williams are not yet in their prime either. I expect beginning next year the NBA Championship comes through Boston. With ownership realizing that now is the time to open the wallets. This team could be set up for a six, or seven year run. (Barring catastrophic injuries)

I also realize that Al Horford must be aware that this could be his last shot at a ring. If there's one guy I'm rooting for it's him. What a Cinderella story, he was buried in OKC, not even playing until the trade that brought him back to the Boston Celtics his old team and he now plays a major part in this playoff run.

God...this is fun.

Last 4 ECF losses:

2012 vs Heat
2017 vs Cavs
2018 vs Cavs
2020 vs Heat

With the last 3 coming in the Smart/Brad Stevens era. We also lost 2011 to the Heat in the ECSF. It's like these guys are built to lose to Pat Riley at some point. That needs to change tonight

I'm not sure where the 11-0 comes from for Scott Foster.  I always check the matchup on Covers for the last 10 games with a ref and it shows 6-4 in the last 10 with Foster for Boston and Miami 4-6 in their last 10.   Here is the link.  You have to scroll down to the ref info.   https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/matchup/265578

Crazy how the day feels like it's almost over yet we're still 2+ hours away from this game

This series should have been over two games ago but to Miami's credit, they've found a way. Today, the Celtics will either show us they're ready to take the next step and vanquish the ghosts of the recent past or it'll be more of the coming up short same. I know which I'm hoping for.

This is the weakest heat team Boston has faced in the last three playoff match up’s. Series is not about what Miami is doing but what Boston has done themselves.

A loss tonight would be head scratching as to how this Miami team won the series.
