It probably had more to do with the mods going to bed.

Unfortunately, this is probably going to be an ongoing problem for a little while.  We're doing the best job we can (which is probably why at least a few of you hadn't noticed a problem).

Ha, that's why we're working so hard to hide them. A lot of these offers have a maximum number of guaranteed bargains, and well...screw you guys.

Don't apologize, I was commenting on the volume of spam. If there are 22 spam posts, report all 22 of them.

As of this morning, over 140 spam post have been removed since yesterday.

I don't know if it's possible, but is there a way for you to undo the "only one report in 20 minutes" thing? If not, I totally understand but there sure is a lot of spam :\

Pretty sure you really only need to report a post once, the mods will get it.  Also, if there are multiple spam posts in a legit thread, drawing the mods attention to the thread should be enough, they'll then be able to delete all the posts from that thread.

But yeah, these spammers ain't stupid, they know when the best times to spam are (high traffic hours/late night when mods aren't around).

It is what it is, I just wish we could track the these people down and, well, do dastardly things to them.

Oh that was a typo. !! I meant only one report in 20 seconds (it's annoying since I want to report all of the spams (they're not all in the same thread) but there's ten spammers and only one me )

But yea, I suppose this is also another anti-spam measure. We don't want the spammers to spam the mods by reporting everything either. I guess you can disregard this request.
