“His impact on an organization is hard to match,” Brad Stevens says of Isaiah Thomas. “He meant so much to me ... He’s an amazing guy.”

Only a few coaches that loved me for who I was a player and person! That’s my dawg!

Monte Morris is playing really good basketball backing up Jamal Murray, pushing Thomas to the third string. Could Thomas ask for a buyout later this season? Could the Celtics waive Bird to open a roster spot? Could the Cs sign Thomas to play in the bench scoring role in the offense in the Cs offense that helped him succeed? Could Thomas have more in the tank if he played under the coach that helped him prosper?

This is 100% conspiracy from me, but its still interesting.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
If IT is out there and we’re not rolling in a big way (particularly if Rozier isn’t balling) I give it a 20% chance assuming IT is waived. We won’t trade for him.

IT will be valuable to them in playoffs. No way he comes back to us this season. He seems pretty active with Denver as well and even giving away tickets to denver fans on his twitter. He brings his son to shootarounds as well and appears to be in good place right now. Denver will be a great place for him to get back into tip top shape.

Not gonna lie, miss the little guy’s heart and grit.

Would much rather give IT the taxpayer MLE next season than give Rozier $15M a season.

But selflessly I’d like to see him kill it this season and get a huge contract, he deserves it.

Can’t think of many players in NBA history who averaged 29ppg and never sniffed close to a max salary.

It's not a bad idea... it could potentially be the only way the Celtics can lift the curse of IT.
