Not unexpected but what a bummer. Just when he was looking like he was starting to play at a high level again. I'm guessing we won't see him for at least a week? Isn't that how long it takes to get out of concussion protocol?

I hope he doesn't start playing like a wallflower again when he gets back...we need him at his best come playoff time.

This whole season has been a bummer.

Hopefully the Celts will have a better showing in the playoffs.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, didn't Horford miss like 9-10 games his first season here because of a concussion he got in practice? That was like 3 weeks or more he was out

I figured he had a concussion.  The question will be how severe was the concussion, and how long will it take to recover from.  He could be back by the end of the week, or out a month.

Good grief. I feel bad for him, and I'm also wondering if he'll ever be "right" this season.

Could be good for him to just rest up until the Playoffs

Nah..we need him back as soon as he's healthy. We need the team playing together at a high level and comfortable with each other before the playoffs start

Minor setback! Hopefully he has a few games before the playoffs start to shake off the rust. This guy can’t catch a break but I think he’s starting to turn the corner

Geez, talk about kit gloves. Did he get hit by a dump truck? Did that pick really knock him out for 5 days?

Sigh, if anyone needs this time to play its him. Excuse me for being insensitive but its go time. We need to see him these last 10 games be Utah Hayward or take home out the rotation. 🤷🏾‍♂️

This is one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve ever seen here. You clearly haven’t dealt with the long term repercussions of concussion, or bringing people back too quickly from it.

Yeah, also it's the NBA concussion protocol.  There is a progression of benchmarks Hayward needs to hit before he is actually allowed to play.  Has nothing to do with him or the team.
