Many thanks g666 and a tp as ever.

I hope the weather clears up soon, and be careful of those knees. ;D

I'm just chucking threes like there is no tomorrow. I don't even get close to the paint  ;D

This week's schedule

Darussafaka plays Emporio Armani Milan

Fener-CSKA should be a fun game to watch

PS in Europe the first team is the one that plays at home. So Fener-CSKA is at Turkey not Russia.

EuroLeague MVP for January: Ognjen Kuzmic, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade

Red Star is doing well lately. I really like this (hope my Croatian friends want get this the wrong way ;D).

It is an old team (founded 1945) from a country where people love basketball. Breaks the Spanish-Greek-Russian-Turkish monopoly we had the last few years. The more countries have teams that do well, the better.

And yes, this is the Kuzmic we are talking about

Didn't have the opportunity to watch a game this week, so I'm simply writing down a synopsis.

The standings; first eight teams get in the playoffs.

This week's results.

PS Here is a subreddit dedicated to the Euroleague. It has less than 200 subscribers, but it is regularly updated with highlights.

I would appreciate a link to the box score, if you may.

Yes, Zizic has been good so far and he is playing against Ekpe Udoh.

This was an important game for both teams: Fener wanted the W to enter the playoffs with homecourt advantage; and Darussafaka needed the W to stay within playoff contention.

tbh I expected Fener to win, they are a better team on paper, they were Euroleague finalists last year, and played at home. Darussafaka had a nice 4th quarter (25-18) and won 72-65.

Zizic (14 pts, 6/7 FGs, 10 rebs) was arguably the best player of the game.
