David Fizdale has agreed to a deal to become the New York Knicks coach, league sources tell ESPN.

Definitely a solid hire for the Knicks. Not a smart move by Fizdale, though. I figure Milwaukee or Phoenix are the best open situations right now. Either would be much better than working for Dolan and the Knicks.

Eh Knicks seem like a pretty attractive spot. They have an all-star player, a lottery pick, and their young lottery PG.

Plus the pay typically is WAY better than what the Suns will do.

Wasn't David Blatt Euro?

As far as I know, he's an Israeli-American. Played for Princeton, born in Boston and grew up in Framingham. But he's definitely Euro influenced.

there night be some sort of connection between hammon and the bucks. she interviewed last year there for the GM position, but did not become a finalist.

popovich thinks very highly of her, so i think it is only a matter of when, not if, she becomes an nba head coach.
