It's the old "everybody shoots better against Boston" axiom, which is always followed by "Oh, that was a fluke; that won't happen again" axiom ... which is always followed by another team shooting lights-out against Boston.

I feel like our experiment of playing Theis next to another big is failing.  It takes him out of what he does best on both ends of the court, and it gums up the paint for our ball-handlers. 

With Thompson currently outplaying him, Theis might be a guy who doesn't have a real role on the current roster.
