My condolences to you and the Smart family. I lost my Mom last year to cancer (she was 69).

RIP Camellia.
Thoughts and prayers with Marcus and his family.

:'( RIP Ms. Smart. Losing a parent is never easy. Smart can use all the support he can get right now.
-
Marcus,
You have the heart of a tiger. You can thank your Mom for that.
May she rest in peace.
My condolences....
-
Know that she is still proud of you.
God bless you Marcus.
-
She may rest in peace... Deepest condolences.
-
That's awful to hear! Wish his family the best.
-
I really feel bad for Marcus, may she RIP.
-
Very sad, she passed young. I appreciate the heartfelt message he left and hope he has good support around him as he copes. In a half-joking interview with Kevin Hart recently, IT4 named Smart his favorite teammate. Certainly a guy I'd feel most comfortable in the foxhole with. Head up, Marcus. We appreciate ya.

I know far too well how awful it is to lose a parent at a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with Marcus and his family.
-
This sucks. If I recall, he always talked very highly of her and were very close (single mom?). RIP.

kid's been through a lot

Lost my wife at 57 from cancer.
RIP

Condolences to Marcus and the Smart family for their loss :(
-
Prayers and condolences to the family members.
Cancer took my mother 13 years ago also. I hope to live long enough to hear some doctor say "we have a cure for cancer".
-
This is horrible. If I’m remembering correctly, he lost his brother a few years back.
Marcus has been through so much, and I admire his spirit. We are lucky to have him.
-
RIP to Marcus' mother.
She raised one hell of a competitor. Marcus has a fierceness to him that I have seen from very few athletes in my lifetime. I'm sure a lot of that he gained from her.
Glad she was able to see him get his contract from us... I feel like I had seen somewhere that she really wanted him to resign with the Celtics. She must've been so proud of him.
