let's show some love for michael smith!!!

i'll never forget red's draft night quote: "he plays a lot like larry...we hope."

I'd rather have Blount than Smith!

his arms are as long as my 3 year old's...

And his game was as soft as a baby's bottom
Yup

bdm, just to clarify for you.

Walker is a 3-time Allstar...Not a 1-timer.  8)

1 time in the 90's

OOPS!!! You're right.  My bad.   :o

I agree with this:

Really the team should be this:
C - Parish (5 seasons, 2 time All Star)
F - McHale (4 seasons, 2 time All Star)
F - Bird (3 seasons, 3 time All Star)
G - Lewis (4 seasons, 1 time All Star)
G - ?

The ? should be Dee Brown.
I love my kids - Call me a sap, but it's true.

the way i figure it is that the big three were the team of the 80's so i'm going with the guys that came in the 90's. and i actually would put dino as my center over 90's parish. and mchale as your 90's PF over antoine? i think thats just crazy.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
kevin mchale was better on one foot (which is where he was for the latter part of his career) than antoine was on two.  watch the '93 playoffs (when reggie lewis went down against charlotte) and see how great mchale played as he was wrapping up his career.

sorry, but i could never defend anyone making a statement as ludicrous as walker being a better player than mchale...

mchale is by far better than antoine walker, he's one of the best PFs ever. BUT his three seasons in the 90's in which he was old and hurt and on the back end of his career, deserves him THE pf over antoine? mchale didn't play a full season once in the 90's. my statement really isn't ludacris at all. Of course mchale showed flashes of his past in the end of his career... thats what hall of fame basketball players do.
