When I see Philly get beat by a team like the Nets, it just makes me think of how overrated our playoff run was last year.

We played at a 48 win pace, barely beat a poorly coached 44 win Bucks team in 7 games... knocked off a woefully unprepared dysfunctional Philly team... and then took LeBron to 7 games - which is less impressive when you realize Indiana also took LeBron to 7 games in Round 1 (and actually outscored them over the series), Bron ended up getting completely swept in the finals, and failed to even take a team to the playoffs this year.

Thank the basketball gods we have Kyrie and Hayward back.  Anyone who thinks we'd actually compete in the playoffs without those two based on last year's success is off base.

this is so not true.... you play the team matched up against you. Celtics beat up on all the teams they faced you cannot take anything away from them.

We were 1-7 on the road. To say we "beat up" teams is a massive stretch.

okay teams beat us up then.

If anyone thinks I'm surprised by D'Angelo Russell evolving into an all-star, you need only to see my supremely sarcastic post back in 2016:

"32 points for D'Angelo Russell tonight in a sad glimpse of what could have been.  Tragic that the 20 year old had his career cut short by hackers leaking the video he took of Nick Young during their prank war.  Really a shame.  He could have been a pretty good player. Sad it's over.  It's a shame his teammate Kobe Bryant couldn't give him some sage advice about salvaging a career after a rape trial.  Unfortunately, it's much easier to come back from rape allegations/pubically cheating on your wife than it is coming back from a leaked snap chat video that allegedly broke a bro code.   I wonder if he can get a fresh start in China like Stephon Marbury. "

we are now supposed to believe this was sarcasm?

This GSW team is so good I think of a some things to do to help out the Clippers.

1, Clippers get to play 6 players

2. All GSW players start with  1 personal foul each

OR

3. Clippers get 6 extra timeouts.

When do the Warriors starting five start trying? I’m waiting for them to go 16-0 in the playoffs to really drive the point home that the regular season doesn’t matter for their Game Genie cheat codes.

Clippers just doesn't have enough fire power to match the Warriors.

So much for the greatness of GSW. It's a ball game again.

How is there no Kyle Lowry/Wilt Chamberlain “0” points Memes?  ;D

I made one last year and posted it here with Ben Simmons after his 1 point performance in Game 2 (and it was a hit!).

Someone could look it up, and then just photoshop Lowry's face over Simmons  :P

EDIT: My bad I didn't realize @CelticsSooner already posted one haha. Nice! TP.

Cousins getting absolutely toasted in the pick and roll right now by Lou Williams and the Clippers. He's going to be borderline unplayable by the end of these playoffs, the way teams target mismatches on D.

Have the Warriors start with 1 technical foul each, that way Green and Cousins will only play in the first quarter
I'm bitter.

Magic and Nets, can’t say I’m surprised.
This years playoff could be best we had in a while.

ball  game? Well it is a game with a ball .... that is the nearest this series will come to a ball game.
