Would anyone be interested in taking a chance with Blake Griffin? I obviously know he has knee issues but with Gordon it could be a high risk high reward if we could get 2 healthy years out of him before he breaks down.

A 3 way trade like below works:

IND receives Gordon Hayward
DET receives Victor Oladipo + Doug McDermott
BOS receives Blake Griffin

Way too high a risk when we can get something more reliable from Indy
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Okay, this may sound weird. But it's the truth (I generally dream very weird).
Last night I truly dreamed about Blake Griffin.

He looked like a cat who kept laying on my feet as if he had affection for me, but then he transformed into a bee and stung me in my foot.

I don't know whether we should interpret that as some kind of vision, just wanted to share this .

No, he’s exciting and fun to watch, but he doesn’t play winning basketball.   Not good enough at defense and the ball stops with him on offense.

If he’s onboard being the 4th banana, I’d be happy getting Blake back. His game has really matured since his dunker days (he’s not much of a dunker anymore actually).

I’d be comfy with him and Theis/Timelord up front I think.

what is it about his stats over the last few years, and last year in particular, that makes you think he is not in decline? or that his $39,000,000 salary is worth taking on?

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

John Wall has demanded to be traded. Would you trade Kemba for Wall?

John Wall has demanded to be traded. Would you trade Kemba for Wall?

Not in a million years.

Wall has played a total of 73 games over the past four seasons and his game has always seemed highly dependant on his quickness/athleticism.  At 30 years old and with THAT injury history, plus the lack of intangibles (he's not exactly got the reputation of a winner) I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

People are being pretty harsh on Kemba here.  He missed a few games this year and people are calling him "injury prone".  I don't get that.  Part of the reason why so many people were excited about the Kemba signing is because of the fact that he's been the total opposite of that - hes been incredibly durable over his career.

In fact over his last 4 seasons with Charlotte he played in 322 out of a possible 328 games - that is a 98% attendance rate.  And that's despite him playing on bad teams where there wasn't really a lot of incentive to play through hurt.

Kemba is a warrior.  The Celtics just got unlucky enough that they happened to get stuck in one of the three seasons (out of his 9 total) where he actually missed more then a handful of games.  I understand there is some concern of his knee, but he's been a very healthy player his entire career, and has shown a willingness to play through pain over his career, so I feel he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

There's also the fact that he averated 20 / 5 / 4 this year whole shooting 38% from three and 86% from the line, and the fact that he looks to have excellent chemstry with the young stars on the team (who appear to love him) and goes out of his way to encourage them to grow without any care about whetgher it will take away from his own role.

I'm actually pretty shocked anybody is discussing the option of trading him, it's a little crazy to me - especially so soon after signing.
