  • The good ole days.
Now that some games have started I would like to say I am very surprised nobody took Billups (Number 3 on my list), Okafor (Number 4 on my list), or Tyrus Thomas (Number 5 on my list)... I guess we'll see how they do. Billups should be Denver's number 1 scoring option with Melo out and on top of that hes going up against Detroit. The last time he played against Detroit he scored around 30 and Stuckey scored around 10. Billups should get a lot tonight.

Billups and Okafor are both off to very good starts!  Hey, now you added Ty Thomas... and he's doing well too.  Something fishy about that! (just kidding).  You seem to but a lot of thought into it.

K-Love is off to a hot start!

Leandro Barbosa Suns 14… 1 Contingent upon Nash’s Availability
Matt Barnes Suns 9.5… 1 Contingent upon Nash's Availability
Tyrus Thomas Bulls 10.2… 5
Okafor Bobcats 14.1… 4
Billups Denver 18.3… 3
Jarret Jack Indiana 12.1… 2

(My list for today)

I didn't mention Barnes because Nash is playing so obviously he won't be as good as he has been lately (which is why I didn't choose him as my number 1 like I was going to)... and I didn't mention Thomas because he was more of a reach, but then I saw his stats and realized I guess it wasn't exactly a reach.

I know you believe me, I just wanted to post this anyway.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Rashard Lewis with a +10.9.  I don't think that's going to be enough, but it's a solid enough effort.

Do you know if Nash is playing ACF? I had to make my pick early because of school. So I didn't have a chance to look. Just thought I'd let you know Barbosa was my number 1 choice (contingent upon Nash playing). I went with the safe choice of Jarrett Jack though, and you wound up, again, with one of my top choices.

Sorry, I don't know about Nash.
But hey man, are you jinxin' me?
Every time I pick one of your top
choices, they seem to play bad  ;D

Yes since I know you use your psychic powers I make sure I pick the players I think are going to play horribly and add them to my list. That way you end up picking someone who ends up not even competing with my real choice. My lists are more complex than you know.

By the way I just checked ESPN.com's preview for the Suns game and they say Nash will likely play. That would be bad news for Barbosa.

More like bad news for this poster  ;)

Looks like you'll be sticking it out with Barbosa anyways? There are still 4 players on my list who haven't been chosen yet.

I can't keep changing my picks. We ought
to have a rule that says one change only.

Haha... as soon as I said that Murphy stopped scoring, and Jack started scoring. Now I probably just jinxed myself though.  :-\

Nevermind!
Jack with 26 finished at +13.9
Murphy with 23 finished at +9.2
Daniels with 18 finished at +4.1

I got lucky there at the end. I would like to thank the Kings for making a game out of it in the fourth quarter and forcing Jarrett Jack to get some extra minutes. ;D

I think Ray wants to exact some revenge

PS. I hope he is not on your list, Matt  ;)
