Feel like the players are going to lose confidence in Brad when he makes decisions such as starting Waters over P2. I mean, he’s been big contributor so far this season and a guy that was a DNP starts over him?  ??? Smh

Yeah, they sure look like a team with no confidence right now.

Brad probably wants Pritchard to get comfortable in his role as backup point guard.  Many coaches make similar moves to keep from upsetting the rotations too much.  It's not a unique thing.

I think he needed a better player coming off the bench. I don’t feel like it’s diss.

Well, we found our next starting point guard. What a terrific pick.

I too am growing confident. The kid is a dog out there.

Tatum saw the poll results here on "who is our best player" and was like, "HUH??"

(To be fair I misinterpreted it and voted Brown thinking it meant only for THIS season so far)

Can’t help but notice how much better they play when Theis and Thompson are not on the floor together

Brad started Tremont because he knew we’d need Pritchard’s scoring off the bench. No Teague, no Smart... who’s going to score when Brown and Tatum are resting? It’s a smart coaching decision.

GWill +21 so far this game.  Pretty much the opposite of most of season.

Great contributions from our bench.

Tremont Waters is a solid player that hasn't had a chance and I'm actually happy Brad gave him this opportunity.

He started because Brad wants PP to stay with the second unit.

For Brad starting matters less it's more about the minutes you play and with what unit. PP obviously is getting more minutes tonight and will have a bigger role even though he didn't start. Same stuff with IT.

As for PP confidence isn't lost. Ainge drafts players that are selfless and team first so I don't think there's anything to this statement lol

Waters is also a lot smaller than PP, which hurts our ability to have switchable (or somewhat, at least) defensive group off the bench.

PP also provides the much-needed scoring punch.

Yeah, he looks much, much better tonight.

We're playing HARD right now, and we're hitting shots on top of that.  I don't know if we can keep this up for the rest of the game, but I'm enjoying it right now.

Saw what Curry did and thought he could do something similar!
