  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
More like he invited that KO to himself.

Cocky moron got what he deserved. Hope that jaw gets even more sore, Anderson, because that's what you get for disrespecting your opponent and your sport.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Jesus man did you have to include the result of the fight in your thread post? Not everyone got to watch the fight live.

Mind the language.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Dude, with all due respect, the fight has been over for HOURS now.

EVERYONE by now knows who won.

No need for name-calling either...

Your welcome for the fight link and if your a MMA fan you shoulda' known the result already.
I didn't watch it live and had to wait for fightnext to post it up a couple hours later. Like I said. Your welcome and next time you don't wanna know the result of a sporting event stay away from forums with off topic threads ,stay away from the internet, any RSS feeds or any site that might tell you the results of an event as big as the dethroning of the longest running title holder in UFC history.

Let's have some respect for each-others habits please. Not everyone is able to catch every game live.

And mind the language.

Also, sick KO.

My bad...thanks for the edit Mod.

Just watched the fight again and I swear Silva wanted to lose. Besides his antics and how not to defend clinic 101he seems relieved to have the pressure off his back. Weidman meanwhile is a very humble articulate new champ and props to Silva for having nothing but kind words for the new champ.

Age beats all men over time.  He is what 32?   That is getting up there for a MMA guy.

32 is still relatively young for a fighter, but Silva is 38.

I didn't think he'd get through his new contract undefeated, but still a surprise to me.

I didn't see the fight, but from the knockout clip Silva was just doing what he always does, but this time it didn't work out.

I think Silva could have beaten age, and Weidman if he wasn't all cocky.

Dropping his hand and showing his chin IN A FIGHT? All it takes is one hit, and yep, that's all it really took.

I was just gonna come in with the age correction. Funny thing is I never liked him too much until watching him dismantle the last 4 of his 16 title defenses and his ability to slow down the game was pretty amazing. Most talented bob and weave counter puncher/kicker I have ever seen in my life time. What happens when the reflexes go with age? This fight is what happens.

I watched the post event presser and he was as real as can be. This wasn't about Silva losing this was about Weidman winning. He wanted folks to be clear on that and I got a lot of respect for him.

Check out the fight at fightnext. The Edgar fight was pretty good too (no spoiler  ;D)
