Gody is rocking some Converses. Interesting.

he’s owning the whole “looks like he’s from the 50’s” thing.

btw I know it's just preseason but the Knicks have definitely exposed some weaknesses in the Celtics game. Given that NY is the best team we will face this preseason .... and yet are a middle of the road team in the east ... I wonder what will happen when we finally face a truly top team in the conference. Will Miami simply run us off the court? Will Bosh, Howard, etc. cream us the way Amare did? But with better teammates? I don't want to read too much into the preseason but I feel like out front court is made up of big, past their prime names but not superior talent.

Can't see the game, but mobility is our biggest "bigs" issue.  Bogut will kill us.  We'll need to monitor how KG does this year.  BBD has some ability to move, but is challenged length-wise.  Despite the supposed depth, there is an opportunity for Erden to work his way into the rotation and play minutes this year.

I've missed the game so far; what's up with 5 turnovers for Lasme?!  Is he being asked to play outside his comfort zone?

It doesn't look like Wafer has contributed much, either.

Extended play at the 3 and it doesn't look to me like Lasme's making the team.

I guess D'Antoni has brought a European flair to this team ... flopping, begging the refs for a call (palms up, wide eyed, soccer style theatrics) ... just complete BS.

this is going to be a very long season if this is how refs are going to call the games. This is terrible. They are rewarding flopping and lack of effort.

Ridiculous calls against Shaq and KG.

Interviewer says Rondo has put on 30 lbs. since college. I believe it - and its all muscle.

  • Thank you Eddie!
The 2010 Celtics probably would have mailed it in after halftime, and nobody here would blame them.  I love how the starters felt like coming back in this game.  Reminds me of '08.

me too. That was great to see, especially the enthusiasm and pride that KG and Pierce showed, and this is a preseason game
