Never watch John Wick but heard good reviews

I was also late t,the party ,  ususally im up on action violence flicks ......LOL.... ;D .....my buddy asked if i had seen the NEW  John Wick release .   He said it was good ...so I figured I d better watch the early ones first .   My wife probably won't want to see the new release with all the " cool" gratuitous violence....LOL .   Sometimes you just need mindless films to chill.

It is ok, but there are much better movies in that genre.  It was on HBO so I didn't pay for it (at least directly).  So if you have HBO and like that type of movie it is fine, but I wouldn't pay for it.

"The Raid" 1 and 2 are top notch violence and martial arts. Not sure if you have seen those.

So I saw Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and didn’t like it. The movie was way too long and some of the scenes just dragged. Was disappointed. There were some part that made me laugh, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The one with Michael Keaton and Nicholson as the Joker? That’s my favorite Batman movie.

TP for the info.  had HBO but cancelled it about a month ago.  overpriced and I've seen almost all of their 'new' movies by the time they broadcast.

we have directv now for tv and HBO is only 5 bucks.  Worth that price for all of the shows and the movies I don't get to watch in the theater since I have young children.

Lol, yeah. I think it's one of those where you either you loved it or hated it. Typical Tarantino flick.
