That is, of course, if they announce retirement prior to playing there, so the crowd knows its their last game.

it's funny - there arent too many guys in the NBA with illustrious and long careers to warrant that response left. We are truly in the new age of basketball. I'm going to really miss the Dirks, Pierces, and the T'Mac's of the world. Truly a legendary era of basketball.

Dirks ovation is actually the only time i've seen Celts fans do that. It's very possible they gave Kobe and Duncan a good send off and i'm just just not remembering.
