Davis didn't even play for the Pelicans and the Wolves lost. Wiggins had 20 points but on 8-21 shooting (just 2-8 from the field). I thought it was pretty telling when Jimmy Butler (a bit of a diva and headcase himself) legit called out Wiggins for his lack of effort and being a bit overrated. Now it looks true.

- The Wolves were playing their 3rd game in 4 days.
- They were on the second night of a back-to-back.
- They traveled to New Orleans from Miami, a game they won, losing 1 hour as a result of time zone.
- The Pelicans were at home and had not played since Saturday.
- The Pelicans are on a long homestand and have not had an away game since last Wednesday.
