It’s not a troll job. We all recognize it is completely off the wall, but think about it:

If Kyrie is betrayed by his supposed BFF KD and sidekick Harden (and Harden is clearly PO’d at Kyrie), who would have to sign off on any trade, we can totally see Kyrie being on a mission wherever he lands next.

He can easily blame his departure on Ainge and say that we’re all good now—he can state he’s never had an issue with Stevens, Tatum, Brown and Smart, and he’s excited to be coached by Udoka.

It’s possibly our only way to score a Big 3 this season, and Kyrie is a truly amazing talent when he’s motivated, focused and not distracting folks.

Furthermore, he’s super popular with players around the league, so rebuilding this allegiance could be huge for our long-term rep, including the rep of GM BS who is clearly not Danny. Bring back IT at the same time and we truly rebuild our rep with the players.

All in all, firmly believe if package one or two gets the job done, we should go for it. To heck with the past. We need a third star to get past the Nets and Bucks, and if it’s Kyrie after all, well, so be it!

Too many ifs, Greenly. IF KD and Harden betray Cryrie (they won't)...IF he is willing to return to a place he blew off (he won't)...IF Brooklyn accepts either of your (very generous to us) trade proposals (not just no but HELL NO)...IF he has matured and is willing to take a backseat to two kids (his words) that haven't won jack yet...too many dominos that need to fall for it to work. Won't happen.

Something is not right with Jayson. Probably a crazy idea to trade him, but thoughts on this:

BOS In: Lillard, Simmons
POR In: Tatum, Horford
PHI In: McCollum, Langford, 2022 BOS 1st

Leaves us with a completely different look, and perhaps we add a 15th guy with a TPE:

Lillard/Schröder/Pritchard
Smart/Richardson
Brown/Nesmith/Juancho
Simmons/Williams/Parker
Timelord/Kanter/Fernando

If Brown continues his maturation, Simmons relaxes and becomes a dominant paint guy who can kick out to the open man, and Lillard continues to beast mode, I can actually see this team winning it all. A big risk is Lillard’s age but athletes are playing much longer than in the past, so it’s possible Lillard can be elite another 4-6 years (no guarantee Jaylen or Tatum is going to re-sign with us either, so age should not dominate all).

It’s no secret that I am skeptical JT and JB alone can truly excel together, let alone get us where we need to go (another title!). Perhaps we need to examine moving JT while his value is so high, especially considering how Jaylen just continues to grow quietly each year (hopefully he’ll never stop the trend)…

I'm actually a fan of this, but it doesn't make that much sense for the Blazers even though the value is fair for them - they've gone all in in building around a superstar with Lillard's skillset.

If Lillard goes on the market, the Sixers are going to go after him themselves not help us get him. 
Portland trading both Lillard and McCollum makes little sense and they could get a better return for them if they did.

I didn't even read the trade proposal itself. Having done so... wow. Why on earth do Portland give up Lillard (currently better than Tatum) and McCollum (better than Horford)? If they got Tatum and Simmons in return, maybe.

Who says no, Goukki? I honestly really don’t know. I think it’s a toss up at this point because Tatum has so much promise but Randle is performing now.
