Definitely compensates for speed with heads up D.
In green he’d get whistled for half those steals.

Last season, Davis Bertans was the Cinderella signing, this year, it's Kyle Anderson. No thanks, I'd rather steer clear of a career plodder having one good season.

The C's have been completely buttoned up in regards to leaks since BS took over for DA.  This sounds like Memphis trying to drum up interest to get addition draft assets in a good draft for a player they don't plan to resign and whose salary they want to get off of.

I think he compliments what we have much better than Bertans.  Slow Mo can pass the ball and handle the ball.  Bertans is a one trick pony

He's signed for 1 more season at less than $10m. If you can get him for a price similar to Evan Fournier (the rest of the Hayward TPE + 2 2RP's), do it.

The TPE is going to expire, so we're in a "use it or lose it" situation. We don't have a ton of options financially to improve the team and I don't think you're going get a better player for similar cost.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I like him as a point forward that helps us move the ball more, and get easier shots for JB/JT than all the iso stuff we have been doing with mixed results.
so would it be this lineup if EF isn't resigned:

Kemba / JB / JT / Slow Mo / Timelord starting
Smart / TT / PP / Nesmith / Langford  off the bench

of if EF is resigned and KA still comes here?

Kemba / EF / JB / JT / Timelord
Smart / TT / Slow Mo / Nesmith / Langford / PP

Or maybe he’s this seasons Nick Batum, or Bogdan Bogdanovic

he’d be taking most of his minutes from Grant.  I’m still a Grant fan, but Anderson would be a better option.

Getting rid of Grant would be a blessing.  Send them Grant and Carsen and a second rounder for him.  Those guys need a change of scenery and Grant is beloved in TENN.

Good point ….excellent opportunity to dump GW

I see some discussing the need for Anderson's passing skills. Funny thing is people complain about the Jays' and Kemba's passing skills, yet Tatum and Kemba have clearly better numbers and Brown just about the same numbers as Anderson.
In terms of raw assist numbers maybe, but when you look at assist percentage compared to usage % and touches it's not particularly close. He also produces more assists per possession than Tatum and Brown, while turning it over less.
