Trades aside, how are we signing Conley?

Wouldn’t we be better re-signing Fournier than trading Smart and Langford for Bogs?

I don’t have a very good sense for DFS’ value, but wouldn’t we want to keep him?

Different 3-way trade idea:

Golden State gets Marcus Smart
Dallas get Kemba Walker, Carsen Edwards
Celtics get Porzingis, Andrew Wiggins, Jalen Brunson, Minny pick

Any trade that gives us 3 years of Porzingis’ max contract is a hard no. He was healthy in the playoffs this year and gave Dallas nothing. That could easily prove his ceiling, and he's plenty likely to be injured again. He’s also already, in a fairly short career, forced his way out of NY started beefing with Doncic.

If we want Porzingis here, I think a straight Kemba-for-Porzingis swap makes sense.

If you're into the idea of Porzingis, which I'm not sure I am. Dallas seems like the second team in a row where he's moaning about his roll in the offense and he also seems injury prone. It might be worth risking for a player with his skillset but I'm glad I'm not the one who has to roll the dice.
