They'd probably want Smart and that seems to be closer in value.
If Dinwiddie has enough value that he could be traded for Smart, he will opt out of his deal and hit free agency.
Then that is what he will do. The latest report I saw was that if the Nets make the finals Dinwiddie may be able to play, so he will be fully healthy at some point this summer and his numbers were fantastic last season for the Nets after years of steady improvement.
