Not a clips fan by any stretch but if they are the best hope to beat the Nets I would rather see that. Also a pacers fan so paul George is high on my list of players

If the Clippers are your only hope of beating the nets you might as well hand them the title.

Nets are obstacle for the next 2 seasons. Philly a problem for the rest of decade.

Can we trade Grant and Carson back for Matisse?
Pardon? Embiid is 27 and Harris is 28.

Also, if Thybulle actually played here he would be torn apart. Elite defender but absolutely garbage on offence, which many Cs fans have no patience for
I have plenty of patience for elite defenders so I would love me some Thybulle
For sure, he’s a solid player. But he’s only 6 months younger than Jaylen Brown and barely better than Langford - hardly missed out on a big weapon

He has much more value than Grant and Carson, which is what the trade was.   He is going to be an all  defensive NBA player in the next year or two IMO. Just needs to refine his 3 pointer.
I'm not sure refine is the right word for someone who shoots 30% from three, alongside 44% from the FT line. Major overhaul is more accurate. Needs to see whoever Lonzo Ball saw
Last season, he shot 35% and 61%.  The free throw percentage especially is not too meaningful given how infrequently he shoots them.  In 65 games this season, he only shot 18 free throws.
In college over 4 seasons, he averaged 35.8% and 78.2%.
So he's regressing? ;)

Ehhhh he's been truly elite defensively. Obviously he hasn't played a ton of minutes this season so take it with a grain of salt, but his DEPM is in the 99th percentile, second to only Gobert for per possession impact on defence according to the stat. And other adjusted +/- metrics on larger sample sizes agree with EPM: he posted a +3.3 DRAPTOR in his rookie season and a +5.0 DRAPTOR this year. This is a guy with the potential to be a top 40-50 player like Marcus Smart by being one of the best guard/wing defenders in the league (he probably won't be as good of an offensive player, but I see him being even more valuable on defence due to his size and length).
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

If the Clippers play like they did last night, they have a chance as well.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I think the Sixers would give the Nets a tough battle. They match up better than the Bucks.

Yes.  They're not going to be able to get away with starting Griffin at center against Embiid.
Have they been keeping Jordan on ice just for the Embiid matchup?

They were lucky to win that one game....they are not winning another game in the series.

Good run by the Bucks,

And now Kyrie appears to have an ankle injury.
