Embarrassing display from a supposed title threat in the Clippers.  Throwing their last two games so they avoid the Lakers in not just round 1 but also round 2.  Especially pathetic given the Lakers should be the easiest to beat in the 1st round coming off the play in game and while they get their 3 best players back into full health.
And the worst thing is that they can very well face the Lakers in the second round if the latter loses their first play-in game to the Warriors.

Before the season started would you have believed:

One of Atlanta or New York is guaranteed to make the 2nd round?

Phoenix would have the 2nd best record in the league, and only 1 game away from the best?

That after the last game of the regular season, we're still not sure if Boston and LA will be in the playoffs?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

As long as it's not PHI or LAL, I'll be happy.

Unfortunately, I just don't have much faith in the West to get it done. I hope they do. But it also wouldn't surprise me if you see a few teams like Denver or Phoenix just go in and lose fairly early despite doing so well in the regular season. Experience matters and some of the West teams lack it.

Or who knows, maybe Golden State and another team miraculously upset the Lakers in the next few days lol

Yep and they ended up with a much tougher 1st round match-up.  I think it would be hilarious if they lost to the Mavs.  I don't think they will, but it is far more likely than them losing to the Blazers.  I mean they haven't lose to the Blazers these past two years, whereas Dallas beat them twice this year (blowout wins) and took them 6 last in the playoffs.

Playoff predictions:

Wizards get the 7th seed, Celtics the 8th.

Nets come out of the East, Clippers out of the West.

Nets win the Championship.

*This is not what I want to happen; but that’s how I see it playing out... :P

Caris LeVert is out for the Pacers tonight due to Covid protocols.  Rough break for them, and a reminder that Covid may change a playoff series.

Looks like Hayward will still be out for Charlotte during the play in games. Played in 44 out of 72 games this season. I’d rather have Fournier at this point, considering age and durability. Gordon is damaged goods.

These are pretty good! I have mostly the same.

My only differences would be, I think Golden State > Memphis (so Golden State gets 8 seed), and I'd say DEN > POR in 6 games, not 5. Either way they'll still win lol.

That said I wouldn't mind if we lost tonight and won the next game to be the 8 seed haha. I'd much rather face PHI than BKN first round, even if we're projected to lose to either of them anyways.

Especially crazy given how little COVID has affected the Pacers.

Hasn’t slowed them down today however

Plus you save 11 million dollars per.

Seems like the Pacers are ready to kick the Celtics' butts if the Celts aren't able to take care of business tonight.

Yeah, I really don’t miss seeing Rozier on the C’s. At all....

Also, this play by play guy needs an oxygen tank or something.

Both guys stink. Sounds like they took some muscle relaxers...
