Smartacus has been suspended for threatening language during the OKC game. Pretty mature stuff from our spiritual leader.

Though to be honest Danny needs to write an official letter complaining about the atrocious standard of refereeing during that game in particular. No wonder players get frustrated. Can’t get yourself suspended though

Typical Marcus Smart. Gotta be him no matter how it may affect the team.

Hope Pritchard gets the start. He's earned it.

It's almost a must win

This is an absolute must win. They need to treat every single one of the last 10 games as must wins. I’m sure the Knicks, Hornets, Heat and Hawks are all treating them as must wins.

I think we're past the concept of must-wins.  This team is what it is (flawed, thin, perpetually missing key players) and a shift of a couple wins in either direction in the final record isn't going to matter.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Disagree on that.  The difference between the 7tb seed and the 6th seed is the difference between having a chance to get some momentum in the playoffs and coming in exhausted against Brooklyn or Philly.

I don’t really care much about the seeding to be honest, Miami proved you can make the finals from the 6th seed, and with most arenas well below capacity crowd support is much less an issue. But as you say it’s all about momentum and we don’t want to limp into the playoffs.

I don’t care about seeding beyond avoiding the play-in games.  4th-6th doesn’t matter.  7th does.

well you need to get the 4/5 seed or then you end playing Bucks / Nets / 76ers in 3 straight series to get to the finals.
Even a homer like me knows that isn't going to happen.  But if we play an Atlanta or NYK in the first round at least you give yourself a chance to get to the 2nd round and stick around in case something crazy happens.

I agree with this.  Give yourself a chance.  getting the 6/7/8 seed is going to be really tough.
Honestly, if you can get your team together enough to catch up 2 games on the Hawks or the NYK's then we just aren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs anyways.  I think that was Pho's whole point....I think.

Philly up 20 in the 1st period over ATL....cmon C's show some backbone and some life and come out and get the win tonight.
We would only be down 1 game to ATL if they lose as well.
