Whoah Hawks out of the playoffs.  RT

Yep, goes to show how closely I viewed the back end of the Eastern playoffs race. In the end I felt that Atlanta had more holes than the others, and was one of those teams that are a better postseason team than a regular season team - except that it doesn't have the tools to reach the postseason. It's a shame because I really tried my best to try to fit it in the back end of the Eastern playoffs; I certainly don't think it's anywhere close to being a top 4 team like some others have them though.

Wade, Pierce, Boozer, Nene not making the playoffs is kinda unimaginable in my mind.
Depends if the Mon-Stars visit.

I mean its unlikely, but it has happened....

Same could be said for Williams, Durant, and Allen not making the playoffs.

Ray doesn't deserve to be on the level of those players (except Nene), but I do still have Indy just barely making the playoffs.

Just don't let Ray shoot the 3 with the game on the line.  Not a winning proposition if you're the opposition.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Here's my ballot - it was really, really tough to rank about 2/3rds of the teams.  Most teams had some great strengths, but also at least one significant flaw, which I think means we all did a really good job assembling the rosters.

1.Miami
2.New York
3.Indiana
4.Atlanta
5.Cleveland
6.Boston
7.Milwaukee
8.Washington
9.Chicago
10.Brooklyn
11.Philadelphia
12.Detroit

1.OKC
2.Minnesota
3.Dallas
4.San Antonio
5.LAL
6.Houston
7.Phoenix
8.GS
9.Portland
10.Memphis
11.Denver
12.LAC

There are some teams I think will overperform or underperform their seed in the playoffs, this is just how I see it shaking out in the regular season.

If I've horribly underrated your team, please take some comfort in knowing it has nothing to do with your roster or how you presented it, but instead is due to a deep, irrational vendetta against you personally  :P.

Don't know if you think a Chris Paul-led team is really the worst in the West or MEM tardiness w/ a presser cost us.

Spurs second worst in the West? In that scenario you're betting against Kevin Love and Danny Granger both?

What's CB's fascination with Nic Batum? I like his game, but he seems his best performanes, and there are some great ones, loom large and eclipse his generally average play. Check his playoffs stats if you don't believe me. My sixth man, Thadd Young is the same age and a better player. He doesn't hit the three or handle the ball, but he's still equals Nic's offensive output by shooting 10% better from the floor and rebounding, while contributing more on the defensive end.

13.4 PTS 42 FG% 37 3PT% 5.3 R 4.6 A 1.2 STL 1.1 BLK 17 TOV% 109 ORtg 1.7 DWS Batum
15.4 PTS 53 FG% 12 3PT% 7.8 R 1.7 A 1.8 STL 0.8 BLK 8 TOV% 109 ORtg 3.7 DWS Young

EDIT #s are per 36.

what do love and granger both have in common....injuries. outside of those two and iggy, ur team doesnt impress me as much as the other teams do in the west

and what does batum have anything to do with anything?
