TP I love it  :P

I think the key IMO is to take out the 2 headed snake in Kobe and Bynum they been what makes them go and also rebound rebound rebound.

Black Mamba pun intended? lol

Seriously, Bynum is a major concern.

I would love to see this as the first real game of total team ball.  Keep the subs coming in, play great defense, rebound and run.  We've seen enough good from bradley, sasha and moore to know the near end of bench guys along with the top bench guys can make this a barn burner.  Lakers have no bench, run every second of the game and see what they have left.
I'd hate to play the celtics in a 7 game series.

These games against the Lakers take on their own life form due to the nature of the rivalry. This is important for both teams because of the races to simply make the playoffs. The Lakers road record is horrific but they did win in Denver last Friday on ESPN right after our hot tempered game versus the Knicks that I thought we would lose.

To me, the key matchups will be our bigs versus their bigs. I think we rotate guys to pick on Kobe and take him out. KG vs Pau, JO(and others) vs Bynum, Bass vs Metta, etc.

Boston has a clear adv at PG but Derek can step up and hit big shots just to pee you off. I like Bostons bench on paper but it must translate to the basketball court.

The Boston fans need this game to get off the Super Bowl Schtick. The Bruins are in a funk as they played a horrific game in Buffalo last night. This is important psychologically.

BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA!
The beatings will continue until morale improves

yeah the lakers are gonna come out fiesty tonight, they've lost 2 straight on their road trip and still have to play two more on the road after tonight's game.  We gotta have JO stay outta foul trouble tonight, can't have Bynum blowing up for a 20/20 game.

on a personal note - this will be my first lakers-celtics game.  can't believe i've gone this long! psyched to soak in the atmosphere in person!

This is an important step for the C's they can prove to themselves and their fan s they belong in the hunt for a title.

The Lakers record is average , but they still have one of best front, if not best front lines the NBA. They can beat anybody any time .

The team that plays the best defense and most bench points and rebounds wins this game.

I want to see what the C's can do with KG guarding Bynum.

If he does as well against him as he has done against Howard this year, I will feel MUCH better about our depth at C...

Yup matchups I want to see

Kg on Bynum
Bradley/Pietrus on Kobe
Ray on Kobe (older and slower now don't think Kobe gets the better of him anymore)
Bradley on Fisher or Steve Blake ( good luck to them)

 ;)

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I am soooo psyched up for this game! I cannot wait to get off work and go home and watch this! Both teams will probably be using it as a barometer on where they are at. It will have a playoff atmosphere!

I'm ready to get amped up!!!

Earlier today I chatted with my Laker friend on WhatsApp. He lives in the Dominican Republic. He said he didn't think the Lakers had a chance today, "not with the way they are playing. Like [bad word]." Maybe he was just making excuses in advance  ;D I was cool, though, I didn't say anything about either team's chances. We might be chatting again during the game. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to roast him really good  8)

(I wish they were paying me for posting this ;D)

Either way, an easy and really cool way of staying in touch.

Vamos Celtas!
