Pruitt might have got some burn at the end of the season if we didn't sign Cassell so late. I think Cassell is too old so Pruitt needs to be a priority this season. Rondo, House and Pruitt is all we need at the PG spot.

Honestly, I had been thinking that Pruitt made the most sense as filling House's spot next year, if House decided to try to cash in off of the championship (it is tough to give a specialist like him  part of the MLE in order to keep him).  But the more I think about it, maybe Pruitt could take the Cassell role.  Kind of platoon House and Pruitt, depending on whether you need to ballhandling of Pruitt, or House's shooting.

I still think it would be ideal to try to bring in another experienced PG, but if they think Pruitt is ready to see some minutes, then it could really help the cap situation, so we could use the MLE to either resign Posey, or throw some real money at a backup Center.

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
I've been watching a lot of college games during the last few days and I've made a final decision:

I'm joining the Courtney Lee bandwagon or the Kyle Weaver bandwagon. I've demoted the CDR/Batum bandwagons to 2nd tier. Those first 2 guys are like short-term cheaper Tony Allens, if they land in the right situation (e.g. TD Banknorth Garden).
