This guy has 17 points in the 1st quarter. The game is on Versus right now and I'm wondering why he's not on our roster.
You are no longer black, or brown, or yellow, or red! You are now GREEN, you are light GREEN, or dark GREEN!

Because we needed to add Pavlovic to our roster.

Because he wasn't going to play anyway.

He's better off finishing the year out with the Red Claws, playing in the D-league playoffs, and then coming up over the summer.

After the year he had, I'd be shocked if the Celtics don't have a roster spot for him next year.

He'll certainly be in the summer camp, and competing for a spot come training camp, without question.

He's free to sign with any team

True, but there's a clear need for another capable wing player on the Celtics next year.

Not sure what the team plans to do with Wafer, but I'd be very surprised if they don't bring Sims in to compete with him in camp. Even with Green on the team now (assuming he's resigned, of course) you need a reliable third option on the bench. We haven't been 3 deep at that position in a long time, and it would be very helpful over the course of a season.
