He's the biggest waste of cash since Jeff Green, and he makes it so much worse with his mouth. That he tatoo'd the Cs to his body b4 ever wearing the uniform, and since disgracing it, is a 'dang' shame....

I hope he's gone AFAP.

Yup, Jamal Crawford is the guy they should've gone after, NOT Terry.

Idk about patience because he should have stepped up already. I kind of expected more from Terry, but I do believe he'll show up come playoff time.

I'm with you.  It just hasn't worked out with JT.  Time for everybody involved to move on.

It bothers me that the Cs had to give up the Bobcats 2nd (and to a lesser extend, Moore) to get Lee, when they could have just signed him outright instead of Terry.

Yeah, the Celtics would not have been much worse off if they had just kept Moore.

Honestly, I'd rather just give all of Terry's minutes to Crawford, Lee, and T-Will.

Jeez, tough crowd.

He's had three poor shooting games in row.  Prior to that, he was playing some pretty good ball, and being an important contributor to this team.

I'm guess ing that fairly soon we'll all be cheering about how glad we are that we got this guy in the off-season.

Yeah, in hindsight.  I was thrilled to sign Terry and I would have much preferred him to Jamal Crawford at the time.

I think terry is gone for a few reasons:

1. His age is starting to show as he appears to have more and more difficulty creating offense for himself.

2. His overall performance thus far has been sub par

3. There's a glut at SG and someone is going to have to go as trade bait for a big.

4. With the defensive play of Lee and Bradley being so dominant and both coming around to being able to hit that three pointer, Terry becomes expendable.

5. It comes down to Rondo or Terry being traded this off season. Rondo isn't going anywhere and Terry would have the same problem fitting in and getting consistent minutes next year.

I think the Celtics will move forward with the younger backcourt of Rondo/Bradley/Lee/Crawford and terry will be gone. He was brought in to be the scoring piece off the bench that(along with Jeff Green) solved those long scoreless droughts the bench would go through. It didn't work out that way and then the injuries started.

With the contracts Danny signed late in the year(Williams, Randolph, White) being extended into next year, I see Terry and a couple or all three of those guys being packaged for a player, sort of the way he has done so in the past. Williams, White and Randolph were signed for the future as trade fodder and filler and I have to believe that those three contracts and Terry's could bring in a $9-10 million a year big man.

BTW, I like Jason Terry. Fan of him and his game. It just didn't work out and I think the team is better served turning him into some other type of asset. At this point he is redundant.
