Hamilton is equally as good a guard as Ray and if Prince can regain his form, is one of the best forwards in the NBA.

Seem like two quality players for a playoff stretch that have been there before. Besides, isn't Detroit looking to clear salary cap space?

People think Ray is worth a lot more than he actually is. Ray has a nice contract for people clearing space but it doesnt appear that teams are looking for just expiring deals, they want young talent in return as well... And we dont have that, unless we trade Rondo and Perk...Which isnt happening.

If they weren't both so injury prone I would say yes, but Rip has been injured a lot lately.  And even though Prince has only been injured this year, his build makes me think he's fragile.

If this trade happened though I wouldn't hate it.  I don't know if it would make us much better.  If both guys were healthy I guess it would help having either guy cover Joe Johnson or Kobe.

Are you suggesting Detriot wouldn't do this deal? They would in a nanosecond.
