C.J. just stuck a dagger in Ja Morant. Love it.

Portland showing they're the more experienced team down the stretch here.  But man, the battle between Valanciunas and Nurkic has been awesome to watch. Big boy basketball!  Morant is a future stud.

The Lakers are going to make quick work of either of these teams.  Portland is utterly atrocious on defense and Memphis makes too many rookie type mistakes.

20 seconds in the game away from clinching #14 pick slot!

Agree with those that think that the Blazers probably won't be too much competition for the Lakers (one can hope), but happy to have the 14th pick!

We better hope this pick actually conveys this year.  This Grizzlies team has a very bright future.  A pick next year could easily be in the 20's somewhere.

What a game! That was a fantastic year for the Grizzlies and Morant, and they fought hard until the end.

I think Mark Jackson is right, the West will be LOADED for years to come and some great teams could miss the playoffs next year as a result.

And on a side note, I LOVE those Grizzlies blue jerseys they wore today. Love them

Perhaps Portland's bigs can neutralize Anthony Davis?

They'll need an answer for LeBron though.

That's true, but I'd argue the Lakers also will need answers for CJ + Dame. This is where they'll really miss someone like Avery Bradley. Blazers could give the Lakers some fits. But I don't see the Grizzlies being able to do that, though much respect to Ja Morant and that team for the season they've had.

CJ not much of a factor. Playing hurt.

That's also true. The Blazers are definitely going to need Carmelo to give them at least 15 PPG in the playoffs, but preferably closer to 18-20.

Lol well, CJ proved us wrong. Massive 4th quarter from him and he finished with 29 points. Carmelo also finished with 21 points, along with some clutch FTs and a clutch three late.

Yeah, a couple of months ago we were relegated to the fact that we were getting #17. As long as anybody but the Lakers win the title, Cs fans should consider this whole thing a success...especially since we get meaningful b-ball in Aug and Sep
