Memphis definitely could have taken back some salary.  They have a ton of trade exceptions.

Trade Exception (Mike Conley, expiring 11/22/20) — $7,726,457
Trade Exception (C.J. Miles, expiring 11/22/20) — $3,126,308
Trade Exception (Kyle Korver, expiring 11/23/20) — $3,440,000
Trade Exception (Jevon Carter, expiring 11/23/20) — $1,416,852
Trade Exception (Delon Wright, expiring 11/24/20) — $4,736,842
Trade Exception (Andre Iguodala, expiring 2/6/21) — $4,185,185
Trade Exception (Bruno Caboclo, expiring 2/6/21) — $1,845,301

Do you think there's more to the trade than just the picks, or are you saying Danny didn't push hard enough?

I worry that Cole Anthony could turn out to be really good.

The way the draft played out, imo we should have traded up for Haliburton. But then again, maybe we tried and no one was willing to trade down. Who knows?

Would have drafted Saddiq Bey at #14. I'm OK with Nesmith. He would have been my 2nd choice.

Milwaukee with a steal at #60, Merrill looks really good as an offensive player.

Not gonna pretend like a know if the players will be good or not. I do know Cs big issues were shooting off the bench and big man.  They didn’t do anything for big man but added a couple of shooters to fill needs. Now, tomorrow we see the big domino of what will happen to Hayward. That will define the offseason for Cs.

That one is going to haunt us. He’ll give us problems for years

First time in 13 drafts where I think I actually got the entire big board done in real time (trades aside).  Usually sleep, booze, etc... gets me.

Im hopeful we dumped some salary.

If we didn’t, I think Danny should have kept our pick.

I wonder if Ainge will sign Wesson or Childs as big man insurance?   both can at least shoot the 3 and stretch the floor
