He’s shooting 26.7% from the field. 0-13 from 3. Ouch!

His form looks fine. He just can’t buy a bucket.

He's not shooting enough to talk about it.  Form looks good.  Not worried.

now?

i dont think his primarily role is scoring right now. i think he is a rookie and has to adjust to the nba with his shooting. i am also not worried and think it is too early to judge much of anything about his shooting.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think he is being gravely misused, as Stevens tends to do with guys with his skillset. He's best in the high and low post, both in terms of scoring, generating fouls and passing

It's definitely a concern. He's 0-14 from 3, 8-31 overall. We can't get away with playing 4 on 5 offensively against most teams.

Worse, he has struggled defensively against any big guy with a pulse. Probably the reason he played 1 minute in the 2nd half tonite, iirc.

Rookie plays meaningful minutes for 1st place team, fans deeply concerned.

He got benched in favor of awful Semi tonight, we obviously aren't the only ones who've noticed.

Looks like it has started. 8)

Not worried about him and there is no such thing as playing 4 on 5 on offense if he is doing his job. We do not need all five players on the court scoring. There is only one ball after all. When are the Jordan Bulls going to start talking about Dennis Rodman's shooting?

I'll worry about his shooting when it prevents him from helping the Celts win games and/or the Celts start needing him to hit shots.

He has good form and a track record of being a good shooter. The shooting will come.

I sometimes confuse him and Carsen Edwards on offense. I guess the difference is Edwards shoots more

I don’t think Brad put Semi in because he was looking for more offense. At any rate I certainly hope that wasn’t his reason...

Ha, Brad might have lost the plot if that were his reasoning

I like Grant, but am not sure why he is seeing so many minutes early on. I guess the explanation is that he often used as a Center so when Theis/Time Lord return, he could see his minutes dwindle.

I know people around here have been raving about him and he is a great glue guy, but sometimes guys need more time to integrate into the NBA. I agree with gouki, too, that he operates best out of the high post.
