have been excited about this for a while but it looks far too powerful, over the top, and emotionally boring for me to sit through. I hope I am proved wrong as I would love to be able to like it.

  Unlike many people who get slanted viewpoints from partisan websites, I plan on watching the vampire hunter and making my own decision about how historically accurate it is.

All kidding aside I did enjoy the approach the Vampire Slayer took as an alternate total fantasy historical story.

Daniel Day Lewis is amazing.  The trailer does make it look a little cheesy, though.  Could possibly just be a bad trailer, though...
