Let's say neither Jaylen and Jayson explode like Siakam, tear it down?

Yes. I want more shots at a LeBron type than OKC.

Already a teardown?

It is.

Walker is in to soften the blow, but the Celtics have basically chosen a new path that's based on the development of (mainly) Brown and Tatum. And with young players patience is a virtue, so ''tearing it all down again after 1 year'' would be the stupidest thing to do.

They are not getting a chip this year, so might as well tear it all down now.

So hypothetically, what would a tear down look like at this stage? Are you advocating getting rid of literally everyone? Or just Kemba, Hayward and Kanter? As it is this team is dangerously light on veteran depth.

I say it is a prelude to a retooling. DA will use the period up to the trading deadline to determine who he wants to stay long term.

The one question that needs to be answered is whether DA is merely adept at acquiring assets, or will he be able to put together the correct combination of players to sustain contention?
