18 games in and we're on pace for just under 73 wins.

We're now "only" on pace for 69 wins, sigh, but we've still got the best record in the entire league by a couple games and we've still got the best defense in the league and we're nearly the youngest team in the league, still figuring things out.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, ALL!

Hope all is well with everyone here.

As Sports Fans, especially - how could we have known...

.....that we'd trade IT4 and Jae.

....that we'd turn over 11 out of 15 spots on our roster.

We'd have Kyrie become available THEN trade for him in a BOLD move.

Steal Gordon Hayward from Utah.

Have GH suffer an injury in CLE.

Lose 1st two games of the season.

THEN go on a 16 game winning streak.

Have ENTIRE team contribute at different times during this win streak.

Have Jaylen AND Jayson step up BIG TIME.

Have Big Al on a Renaissance Man tour this season.

Have Aron Baynes assume the role of Kendrick Perkins.

Have Kyrie starting to grow into a leader on this team AND a legitimate MVP run?

And THEN - despite ALL of this great stuff - have Coach Steven state that we are NOT playing our best ball yet?

Good times.

More good times to come - especially once we get GH back.

On pace for 68 wins. Best record in the league. One of the best defenses in the league. One of the youngest rosters in the league.

And all this without our second best player. This team is gonna be unreal next year.
I'm bitter.

This has reminded me last year's team, not being able to close the match early. Silver linings, another win.

Let's go!! Bring on the Bucks!!

At 23-5 the Celtics are on pace for 67 wins. But more important (for me and my neurosis), with 56 games remaining, the C's can be a .500 team from here on out and still win 50 games. After Hayward's injury and taking L's in the first 2 games no one thought the team would be sitting here right now.

Amazing.

It's been a tumultuous start to the season to say the least.  Despite the recent slump, the Celts are very fortunate to be where they are.  Here's to health and growth in the New Year.
Yup

The Celtics may be down but they are not out! They'll bounce back from this slump they're still one of the best teams in the league.

Despite the recent funk, we're still tied for most wins in the league, and the Celtics are still on pace for 59-60 wins. If this is the law of averages working itself out, water finding its level, I'll take it. Let's be a 59-60 win team every year.
