At this point, and for the money they would be getting paid and for the cost in assets to acquire I think i would rather thon maker.

Only 21 and could easily be at turners level now when he is the same age with some good coaching, mentoring and playing time.

Dude, Thon Maker isn't even a year younger than Turner.

That, and he's also not very good at basketball

Meh. Age was off.

Still see him as brimming with potential and a good coach and a good mentor will get alot out of him.

He has the tools to be better than turner at way less of a cost

Much rather make a deal of yabs  + a couple picks(20 and 22?) for sabonis.  Much more the skill set for the current C's team.

That would be a crazy good deal, therefore not realistic.

Turner is just too passive to invest so much to trade for him. Similar to Al Horford on offense he just doesn't shoot enough even when he's open. Al at least will go for stretches where he will get his shots up (he has generally improved at this as a Celtic) and provides really good passing.

Maybe he can get there, he's a good shooter. If he just shot when he's open without hesitating it would help the Pacers immensely.

Nyk wants a first rounder for Frank Ntilikina

Laughable...Not your post but this guy has never panned out and I doubt they get it.

And they're not getting a first rounder for him....

"Get Up" has had Damon Jones on the past couple of days.  He's been terrible, IMO, too.

but jackson also shot 56.6% FT in college and his nba career FT average is 65%. this doesnt do much to make me confident his 3 point shooting will improve.

nonetheless, he is athletic, though i am not convinced phoenix would take a poo-poo plater of celtics assets for him.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

For a mid round draft pick (2) firsts seems fair to me.  Would it take (3)?  The guy has stats like horford without being as strong a defender or creator...

Your post is a bit ambiguous so just want to point out that where Sabonis got picked is irrelevant to his current value, if you are saying that 2 picks this year isn't worth Sabonis(a mid round pick). Wondering if you could clarify what you're saying.
