Boston gets : Danny Granger,Charlie Villaneuva

Milwaukee gets : Shawne Williams, Leon Powe

Indiana gets : Glen Davis, Brian Scalabrine

This is a minor trade that would help all teams.

Boston gets younger and could fill some holes.

Milwaukee gets some backup in key positions.

Indiana lets one of their problem children go and some solid backup.

First off, does this trade even work per CBA guidelines?

Secondly: Indiana trades Danny Granger, their cornerstone, for Glen Davis and Scalabrine?

Pacers are going to trade Granger for Scali and Davis?

I don't think Bird loves the Celtics that much.

dude, the Pacers JUST traded Jermaine O'Neal because they plan on building their team around Granger. You think they're honestly going to trade him for some late-second round level talent?

I swear to god the trade ideas here are just brutal.

But at least this one makes the team better.

Dude, Danny Granger is not Jermaine O'Neal. He's young, not injury prone and has been targeted as a cornerstone to build on.

As an added bonus Ray Allen is not included.

Do you mean Shawne Williams? Jamaal Tinsley? Because Danny Granger is not a problem child, quite the contrary. He's a class-act and, while not a superstar, a very good player. The new face of the franchise.

If you really mean Granger, we should try to trade Pruitt for Ford, House for Dunleavy and POB for Foster while we're at it.

This trade doesn't make sense at all. The 2 best player in this three way deal goes to us and we send out Scali, Davis, and Powe. Indiana and Milwaukee gets nothing in return.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

What a surprise.  A trade including Scalabrine.

It's like it never occurs to anybody that if we don't want him why would anybody else?

Finkel, that was hilarious... I like the logic and fully agree that Scal is the least marketable commodity we have. Unless we can convince someone he is Michael Rappaport and they hire him for PR responsibilities.

I think the same thing every time I read threads here. I just read them to see how ridiculous they can be. I can count on my hand how many decent trade ideas where posted here...like 1..or 2..
Can't stop, Rondo!

The ONLY thing I take from this thread is the recollection of how much I wish Bird had taken the God of Basketball, Gerald Green, so Danny Granger - an actual useful player - would have fallen to us.
