The bold says it all.   Ever since he had the playoff series where he refused to shoot a wide open layup, and got criticized by Doc afterwards it feels like he has been mentally done. Sucks if you are the team that is paying him for being a no-show though.

Honestly it feels like he just doesn't really like basketball. He's rather do his fashion thing.

I'll also add, maybe there was a time early on he did enjoy basketball but after a few hiccups and incidents (like the missed open layup + getting scolded about it by Doc and the media), he pretty quickly seemed to give up. No "toughness" in his game both physically and mentally. Sometimes a player goes through bumps and bruises along the way and grows, Ben faced it 1-2 times and just dipped lol. And how many years did people say "just wait until he develops a jump shot", he literally never did.

At least guys like Zion, John Wall, Beal, etc., while also frustrating, they still try to play and a lot of what hampers them is injuries especially in Zion's case. Simmons really just quit and is cashing that 170M contract. I don't buy his "injuries" either. Lonzo Ball is practically out of basketball but everyone's aware he's seriously hurt and undergoing surgeries and rehabbing. Simmons' looks like he's just living a second life now.

Probably a bit higher than that cause gobert cause 100k for making money sign at ref. I don’t think a suspension is possible cause the refs already came out and said it should have just been a tech after the game.

Unless he really comes back from the dead this upcoming season it’s hard to imagine he gets more than a minimum offer anywhere. I am unsure if he likes basketball enough to do it for a minimum salary.

He has had an incredible career,   he has the all time earnings record without being on the court  .   Most dollars stolen with negative effort on court . 

He and his agent bamboozled two teams out of a fortune.  Surely one of the biggest heists in modern day NBA era.

And he deserves an academy award for pretending to be a basketball player .  When actually he is lazy 7 ft bum.

Geeze, Mitchell Robinson out for the rest of the playoffs now with a stress fracture in his foot. Another big injury blow for NYK. No way they can sustain their current pace of play all through this tough Indy series and keep it up next series, too.

Murray got a $100K fine but no suspension.

The fine is admittedly a fat one, but I fail to see why Dejounte Murray bumps a ref and gets a game last year while Murray throws junk at a ref TWICE and doesn't miss time.  The Nuggets got really lucky.  I think it's pretty clear that the league isn't going to suspend a star player from an important playoff game unless he comes on court with a shotgun.
