I changed my pick because Brandon Roy does not play tomorrow night ... if there's a problem, I'll remove my name from the list. I began changing it before anyone else posted, unfortunately, by the time I posted the change, someone had copied the first.

The deadline for picks was 1 PM because of the Raptors-Magic game.

I wish I could guarantee not ever making another mistake, but unfortunately, I'm as human and as mistake-prone as a person can be.

No, you're not getting what I am saying Bahku. You say you went in and changed your pick but the technology of the software would then say that you edited that post. But that doesn't say that. How can you post and edit without it showing that you edited?

Of course, I don't expect you to answer that because maybe it's a software glitch. I meant nothing against you. You have the right to change your pick right up until the deadline. I just find the glitch of you being able to edit a post without the board stating you edited it as being very strange.

Yeah ... I'm not sure, but I think it's because of the timing ... when I went to change it, no one else had added anything, but by the time I posted it, someone had copied the earlier post, which means they were doing their post almost at the same time I was changing mine ... pretty sure that's how it ended up not showing an edit, Nick ... but I'm just guessing.

Out of curiosity, do we switch to this year's stats ten days into the season or after the teams have played ten games?

I think once a player has finished playing in his tenth game he then graduates to this year's averages instead of using last year's. Someone can correct me is I am wrong but it is the individual player's games played not ten games into the entire NBA season or ten game for the team the player has played on. I think it is that the player has to play in over ten games this year for him to be stat eligible to use this year's stats.

So, for example, if a bench player pulls a DNP or if a player is suspended or injured, even if his team has played in ten games, if he hasn't, then use last year's numbers. But is he also played in less than ten games last year and his name isn't Gilbert Arenas, then he is ineligible until he plays in 10 NBA games this year.

Nick is correct.  For instance Big Baby Davis might not have a 10 game average established til January, so we would still use last years stats for him when he comes back (regardless of the Celtics amount of games played)
